Country Skittles, Townshend, near Hayle

Family entertainment centre. Ideal for a fun night out for the whole family. Skittles, pool tables, electronic clay pigeon shooting, table tennis, board games etc all available. Bar and bar meals available.

 

Newquay Zoo

This zoo has a number of other attractions as well as the animals.

Newquay itself makes a good day trip though the town is busy in summer.

 

Paradise Park, Hayle

This theme park has a large number of rare birds and animals on display and the children can touch the animals in a special Paradise Farm area. Includes otter colony and Paradise Railway. Birds of prey flown daily at noon and 3:30pm. See promotional leaflet for more information.

 

Land's End

Great views, exhibitions, audio-visual experiences ('The Last Labyrinth'), suspension bridge, children's play area, rare animals display and curio shops. Good for a few hours. Tends to be very busy in summer.
